An Introduction to BlazeMeter's Load Testing Platform
BlazeMeter is a load testing platform that makes practicing comprehensive load testing extremely easy. You do not need to understand how to build a load testing lab, you do not need to understand how to balance the load between numerous servers. No need for installation, configuration, hardware, professional services, etc.
BlazeMeter is 100% Apache JMeter compatible.>This means that any script written by the popular JMeter software can be run using BlazeMeter. However, if you are a scripting novice - no problem! BlazeMeter provides an automatic scripting feature that creates the script based on best practices, according to a list of URLs you provide (see GET and POST option under 'Add Test' once logged in).With BlazeMeter it only takes between a few minutes to a few hours to test any kind of web-service, web app, website, mobile site, mobile application or database. And you can easily simulate any kind of scenario including, log-in, sign-up, forms, web-services, credit card transactions, online chat, SQL and more.
The scalability BlazeMeter provides is close to unlimited. Whether you want to test 1,000 concurrent users, 100,000 concurrent users or more, BlazeMeter will generate realistic traffic where each user is an individual browser simulated user. (This means that it can have a user agent {MSIE, FF, Chrome, Opera, etc.}).
BlazeMeter's load testing platform also has a distinct caching mechanism; a unique browser session and cookies.It can also have a unique user name and password. Each simulated browser will fetch resources in parallel the same way a modern browser does.
Just to reiterate, every, single one of the 100,000 concurrent users will have a distinct set of features (session, cookie, cache, etc). If over the course of a (several hours long) test, you will have 10,000,000 users, each one will be distinct!
It literally, does not take more than 10 minutes to run a 10,000 concurrent users test on your website or app, even with no prior load testing knowledge or experience.
With BlazeMeter the most extensive reports are generated in real time and are very easy to read. Using a single report page, you can find answers to any performance related question you may have. The reports are generated in real time. They are also archived for later reference.
