Using JMeter to get started on BlazeMeter

If you are already a JMeter user, you will love BlazeMeter's load testing platform. It's 100% compatible with JMeter.

If you're new to JMeter, no worries. We have a number of JMeter tutorials to help you get started, like our 10 minute tutorial "How to write your first JMeter script" and the rest of our JMeter video tutorials.

BlazeMeter will allow you to continue to work as usual,  but your life and workload will be waa-haaa-haaayaay faster and easier. BlazeMeter removes the pain of configuring JMeter or creating a distributed environment. Instead, BlazeMeter provides you with a super strong, dedicated (to your tests only), distributed environment that will be available to you on-demand!

We like to think of it as JMeter-as-a-Service.

Imagine a cluster of up to 100 dedicated JMeter engines, all preconfigured, available in 1 of 11 geographical locations and ready to run 24/7 with no setup at all.

Sounds too good to be true right? But, it isn't.

No more than 5 minutes is needed to set up and run a test. No need to pre-allocate, or confer with a sales or tech team over set up. BlazeMeter's platform  is out-of-the-box and ready to go. State of the art reports are generated in real-time for your immediate use to identify bottlenecks and other issues. That said, if you are an enterprise and need to load test behind your own firewall, then no problem, you can test up to 300k concurrent users too!

So, let's get started.

Create Your First Test

To create a test, have your JMeter script in place and follow these steps:

  2. Press the 'Add Test' link (on the upper left toolbar) and upload your script.
  3. Save your test, then start it by pressing the Start link.
  4. You can also View a Test Demo.
